How It Feels When Your Book Arrives!!!

Well, I must say that when your very own copy of your rough drafts, revisions, and point of surrender being manifested shows up in a neat and beautiful little package, it is quite surreal.  You feel happy, overwhelmed and more than a little giddy.   Then break out the cocktails!  Then hope it sells.  Then worry.  Then obsess. Then let it go.  Then pick up the pen and write on your next novel again.

Repeat this pattern till the sun comes up, bottle is empty, or the day job calls.  Being a social butterfly is hard work, you know.

Toodles,

Barbara Jean
