Life is such an adventure!  As Barbara Jean Coast, we have met so many wonderful people over the past year and heard from quite a few readers of STRANGLED BY SILK, letting us know that you have enjoyed our first novel as much as we have had the pleasure to write it, and waiting for our next installment, which we hope to have ready for the fall.

As fledgling writers, we’re exploring (sometimes bang on, sometimes fumbling) our way to promote our story and reach readers.  We took the opportunity to do complementary ebook giveaways and were gratefully surprised at the response from all over the world — North America, France, the UK, Germany, Japan — numbering in the thousands.  Going into this new phase of like without knowing what to expect, the results have left us happy and content (yet still wanting to connect further) to have reached so many people willing to take a trip to our Poppy Cove world.

As readers of the free novels, giveaways, gifted and purchased books as well, a terrific way for all of us to show our appreciation to all the writers of the tales they have shared with us is to spread the word, in a review or rating, even just a short note on the site or venue where you got the book, especially if you enjoyed what they have given you.  It’s a nice way to return the thanks they have for letting us share their thoughts, energy and imagination.
